The 2010 FIFA World Cup to be held in South Africa will be the country’s “defining moment”, as commented by an authoritative official. With less than 2 weeks left before the soccer showcase kicks off, preparations are in full swing, said Danny Jordaan, the local organizing committee Chief Executive Officer .

In just a couple of days time, South Africa starts what Jordaan believes will be one of South Africa’s most important moments, the Soccer Worldcup 2010. This defining moment will be endured for a full month, a period where the attention of the world will be whole heartedly zoned towards the action in South Africa.

Jordaan has requested all South Africans to take part in the World Cup since this is “our” showcase. He continued to say that a massive part of the success of the World Cup relies on how all South Africans host the Soccer Worldcup this year. Each individual is to ensure that South Africa as a unified voice shows all the visitors and the international television audience the caring nature, friendship and unity of the South African community.

President Jacob Zuma has called on all South Africans to stand behind the national soccer team, respectfully known by its nickname Bafana Bafana.

So what more would you expect than a response from none other than the hero of sports lyrics, a Soccer Worldcup song with a true South African slant. You guessed it, it’s Leon Schuster with the Bafana Bafana South Africa Worldcup 2010 song “Khutala Bo” (Kick It Up). Entertaining and a reflection of South Africa’s kind hospitality, set against some incredible images of their fantastic scenic country.

Have fun …
